Submissions

I am always open to submissions for the publication. If you are interested in submitting your project for a video feature, email submissions@simpledwelling.net.

Before submitting, be sure to view the Submission Guidelines below to check if your project is a great fit for Simple Dwelling.

Submission Guidelines

I will assess if your project fits Simple Dwelling against the criteria below.

- Must be a residential project, such as a new home, renovation, extension, apartment, townhouse, cabin, etc.

- Speaks to the principles of minimalist architecture, such as simplicity, clean lines, functionality, simple forms, and a limited material palette.

- The home is modest in size with good sustainability credentials.

- There is a strong architectural idea or experimentation to the home, solving problems through the design.

When submitting your project, please include the following information.

- Project name

- Project location

- Brief summary of the project, directly addressing the above criteria

- Link to a media kit (if the project has not yet been photographed, include latest site photographs, renders and the like)

- A note on when it might be possible film, eg, right away, 6 weeks from now, next summer, etc
