Each plate is dishwasher, oven and microwave-safe; however, avoid sudden shocks in temperature as it may cause damage (eg, freezer to oven).

Simple Dwelling and Claire Ellis Ceramics have made these plates for daily use. Handmade ceramics stain and mark with time, which are natural signs of well-loved pieces. If you wish to refresh the surfaces, you may polish them with a sponge scourer and a baking soda paste made with warm water.

While each piece is durable and can last a lifetime, please take care when stacking, and avoid sliding the pieces on each other’s rims to protect them from chips.

Did your order arrive damaged? Send us a photo of fully broken pieces within three days of delivery and we will replace them.

If you accidentally break a piece, Claire can offer Kintsugi to repair it. Price will depend on the extent of damage. Otherwise, send your broken piece back to us and we will offer you a discount on your next order, and Claire will recycle your broken piece into new dinnerware.

Each piece is handmade to order, so allow 5-6 weeks from placing your order for us to ship it off to you.

Shipping cost will be calculated based on the order weight and destination.
